Leadrning Programme (DLP)
What
is distance learning?
This is the kind of learning
that enables you to:
• Study at home or wherever
you wish without having to
attend regular classes on
a weekly basis.
• Study at any time
that fits in with your work
and social arrangements
• Control your own learning
• Study at your own
pace or speed
Upon
registration and payment of
the required Fees, a student
is given the course outline,
course content and all the
necessary reading materials.
Face
to face sessions.
This session enables students
to physical interact with
their Tutors/Lecturers and
fellow students/course mates.
It
takes place every two months,
in the middle and at the end
of every semester. At the
end of the second meeting,
students are expected to write
their exams.
Face-face sessions usually
last for 3 days (Friday to
Sunday). Exams there begin
the following Monday.
Distance
learners can finalize their
admissions online and remit
their fees by bank draft,
money order or pay direct
to the IMSAT bank account.
Bank
of Baroda A/C No. 95040200000396.
Duration
of distance learning courses:
While it is possible to complete
the course in the same time
like a full-time student,
in some cases a distance learner
may need 4 – 6 months
more, depending on one’s
discipline and self control.
